MULLE FUGLEMOR

Mulle Fuglemor, the bird mother, is a giant troll built from reclaimed wood, hidden in the forest near Svendborg on the Danish island of Funen. In each hand she holds a birdbath, and around her neck hangs a necklace of little birdhouses, a home and a resting place for every bird that finds her.
På et hemmeligt sted
en smule nord for sundet
snor et fuglespor
i træets top og muldens jord
hvor mange tusind fugle bor.
Hvert år, når det står fuldt i flor,
de nye kuld af fugle gror,
så pipper de i fuglekor
i takt med Mulle Fuglemor.
